How it works

The checklist starts with a maintained live-production baseline and adds tasks that become relevant for the selected event type, act size, touring scope, and complexity. A festival adds shared-backline and changeover ownership; a corporate event adds presentation and playback delivery; theatre adds cueing and show-caller decisions; complex or large productions add coordination work that a small local act may not need. The result stays intentionally finite: it helps a team finish an advance instead of producing a generic list of every possible concern. Priority labels describe how to use each item. Required means the receiving team cannot plan reliably while the information is absent. Recommended improves clarity or resilience but may not apply to every show. Needs confirmation marks a decision that belongs to a named artist, venue, rental supplier, production manager, audio engineer, or qualified specialist. Assigning an owner is more useful than writing “TBD”; a due date should fall early enough for substitutions, rentals, staffing, and technical review. Completion means the responsible parties have agreed on a usable answer, not merely that someone typed text into a document. Changing the profile regenerates the applicable baseline while preserving completion, owner, due date, and edited wording for tasks that remain relevant.
